Today I was challenged with this consideration: my prayers may be inconsistent, hypocritical, and meaningless because I do not recognize my needs. Whether it is realized or not, "we're always in trouble." I was convicted of demonstrating arrogance by neglecting prayer... as if I am capable of effecting change myself!
