Begin with...
- Adoration: "For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us." (Isaiah 33:22) Spend time praising Him for Who He is!
- Verses: 1 Timothy 1:17; Exodus 15:11; Revelation 7:10,12; Hebrews 13:8; Daniel 2:20-23; Psalm 68:35; Daniel 4:3; Isaiah 43:11; Revelation 1:8.
- Confession: "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered." (Psalm 32:1) Personal confession is appropriate, and spend time confessing the iniquity of America.
- Verses: Daniel's confession of Israel's sin in Daniel 9:4-19; Nehemiah's confession in Nehemiah 1:4-10.
- Thanksgiving: "The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad." (Psalm 126:3) Thank Him for what He has done, and demonstrate faith by thanking Him for what He will do in the future.
- Verses: Psalm 100:4; Psalm 50:14; Hebrews 13:15; Philippians 4:6.

- Supplication: "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority..." (1 Timothy 2:1-2a) Ask God to do mighty deeds!
